A: Easy! Fill out the Vendor Application Form, and our team will guide you through onboarding, from setting up your storefront to going live.

Q: What types of products can I sell?

Q: Do I need technical knowledge to join?

A: Nope! If you can send an email, you can start selling. Our team offers full onboarding support — no coding or tech jargon required.

Q: What information do I need to provide to list my products?

A: You’ll need:

Q: Do I need professional images?

A: High-quality images are key to selling online. While professional photos are ideal, we also accept clean, well-lit phone photography. We’ll share a detailed Image Guidelines Kit after sign-up.

Q: Can you help me with branding or photos?

A: Yes! We offer branding, photoshoot, and content creation support at subsidized rates via our creative partners. Ask us when you sign up!

Q: Can I offer personalized products (like names on towels, mugs, robes)?

A: 100%! In fact, we love it. You’ll just need to clearly mention personalization lead times and order instructions in the product listing.

Q: Can customers add gift messages or request gift wrapping?

A: Yes, and we’re working on a dedicated Gifting Flow that allows shoppers to send curated gifts directly — with your products in the spotlight.

Q: I don’t have a brand. Just cool products. Can I still sell?

A: Absolutely. Whether you’re “Brandless & Brilliant” or in the process of naming your empire — if your product solves a problem, sparks joy, or makes people go “Ooh!”, we want it.

Q. I’m a designer with a unique aesthetic. Will my brand get lost here?

Q: Do you allow cash on delivery (COD)?

A: Yes — and it’s still the UAE’s most popular payment method. But we offer card, Apple Pay, and other option like BNPL like Tabby too for your swipe-happy shoppers.

Q: What if I’m not tech-savvy? Can someone help me onboard?

A: 100%. We’ll guide you through it all — product listings, photos, pricing, promos, and even marketing tips. BYFT is your team behind the screen.

A: Depending on your category, you may need a valid trade license or product certifications. Our team will guide you based on what you sell.

Q: What if my products don’t meet UAE compliance standards?

A: Our team will inform you of any additional requirements. For skincare, kids’ toys, or anything that touches the skin, labelling, expiry, and product safety standards must be met.

Q: Who handles delivery and returns?

A: You can choose BYFT Fulfillment or manage it yourself. Returns handled as per product category norms.

Q: How do I get paid?

A: Payouts are made within 7-15 working days from order delivery.

Commission & Pricing at BYFT.store

Q. What’s the commission you charge per sale?

A: We charge a flat commission of 15%. This fee covers platform visibility, payment gateway charges, customer support, and ongoing standard marketing promotions.

Q. Is there a monthly fee or listing fee?

A:Nope! Zero listing fees. No upfront platform charges either. You only pay when you sell — which means zero risk to start.

Q. Do I get to set my own product price?

A: Absolutely. You decide your retail price. We just help you optimize it based on market trends and margins — if you want our input.

Q. What’s included in the commission?

A: Our commission includes:

  • Product listing & cataloging
  • Secure online payment gateway
  • Platform exposure (category features, new arrivals, seasonal campaigns)
  • Buyer trust-building
  • Seller dashboard & order tracking
  • Returns and exchange handling
  • Customer service and dispute management
Q. Are there marketing or ad costs?

A: Basic marketing is included in your commission. We run regular platform-wide promotions.

For extra visibility, you can opt-in for paid boosts or feature slots — totally optional

Q. When and how do I get paid?

A: We share your Statement of Account (SOA) by the 7th of every month, which includes a detailed summary of all your sales, returns, and deductions (if any).

Once you raise an invoice based on the SOA, we process your payment within 2–3 working days via bank transfer.
